About me

In 2009, I began an vocational training program to become a maintenance mechanic for plant construction at Evonik Industries AG. After completing my vocational training, I initially worked as a maintenance mechanic in the maintenance department for various chemical production plants at Evonik Industries AG. During this time, I gained experience in the areas of maintenance, troubleshooting, turnarounds, and plant construction projects. In 2015, I began studying part-time to become a "Bachelor Professional of Metal Production and Management".

After completing my degree as a "Bachelor Professional of Metal Production and Management", I joined the Technical Service department at Evonik Industries AG in 2018 as a mechanical supervisor, where I became more deeply involved in plant construction projects and troubleshooting. In this role, I was able to significantly deepen my knowledge in the areas of mechanical installation, pipe construction, -planning, and -calculation; cost estimates; contracting; billing; cost monitoring and accountability; quality and supplier management; as well as installation and setup planning for the mechanical division. During this time, I also managed several medium-sized pilot plant construction projects for the Research Division of Evonik Industries AG.

At the same time, I expanded my professional education once again between 2018 and 2020 by completing my Master's degree in Technical Management (Master Professional of Technical Management) at the night school.

From August 2021, I was able to demonstrate my expertise in plant construction for the first time in the role of construction site manager for a major plant construction project — a complete success!
In April 2022, I was officially promoted to the position of Construction Manager and successfully leaded further plant construction projects and maintenance services for Evonik Industries AG.

In June 2024, drawn by the allure of something new, I joined Sunfire SE in Dresden to contribute to the energy transition, gain new experience in plant construction, and learn about a new technology—electrolysis. There, as a Senior Engineer Construction & Site Manager, I had the opportunity to further expand my knowledge and skills in industrial electrolysis, construction site management abroad, intercultural competencies, technical sales, factory acceptance tests, and prototype construction during numerous international assignments in Germany, Finland, Poland, Greece, and Spain. During this exciting time, I had the opportunity to collaborate on various projects and in different roles with clients such as RWE, UNIPER, Repsol, and Petronor. At times, I assisted the After Sales (Technical Service) team, where I also had the chance to further develop my knowledge and skills in troubleshooting and maintenance. In addition, at Sunfire SE, I expanded my expertise to include the following areas: establishing a new department, recruiting specialized personnel for construction sites, creating various technical test reports—including defining regulations and additional templates—travel management, and international tax law.

In the beginning of 2026, it was time for me to start a new chapter and finally fulfill my long-held dream—becoming self-employed! “Sokolutions”

I now support companies as a supervisor, installer, and field service technician in Latin America, as well as remotely, with installation planning and scheduling for plant construction projects.
